Wellcome Genome
The brief
Wellcome Genome required printed brochures to support their multiple campus exhibitions. The brochures needed to work with and build upon the existing design style and assets of the exhibitions themselves.

Genomic Expressions
The exhibition posed a question to scientists at the Wellcome Genome Campus: What does genomics mean to you? The scientists were then asked to create a visual piece of work alongside a written description in answer to this question. Jasmine placed this question in a simple circle, cut out on the cover, and from here, used this shape as a cohesive device throughout the design. She utilised the same typeface and colour palette used in the exhibition design to create continuity. Using these elements, Jasmine introduced a series of patterns to create a dynamic feel and to bring everything together.

Curious Nature
Curious Nature was an exhibition in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Wellcome Sanger Institute. It was based around sequencing the genomes of 25 species found in the UK. These species were split into five categories; Iconic, Dangerous, Cryptic, Floundering and Flourishing. Jasmine used this clear categorisation to create a tabbed and colour coded brochure, making the sections very clear and easy to navigate. As with Genomic Expressions, the typeface and colour palette were already set in the exhibition design, so Jasmine added elements to this to create a well rounded, cohesive brochure.
