The brief

A personal favourite of Jasmine’s, this brand and website project was a total overhaul of the travel agent's existing look. The intention of the project was to showcase Flitch Travel's unique offering of bespoke holidays, and to position it as THE place for exclusive luxury travel.

Affordable luxury

The objective was to ensure that the new brand screamed luxury, but in a clean, modern way that appeals to a wide audience. Jasmine achieved this through careful selection of serif and sans serif typefaces and decadent, aspirational photography. She used rich, warm colours to evoke feelings of long sunny days, the sea lapping at your feet and vibrant tropical horizons. She kept the design of the logo and brand assets clean and simple to create a contemporary feel, integrating a 'compass' asset into the photography to enable the user to place themselves within the beautiful images.

Enjoyable user experience

Flitch Travel's website design needed to be modern, clean and easy to navigate. Jasmine achieved this through her use of strong colours, bold imagery and simple but clear section blocks. The main navigation was simplified from Flitch Travel’s existing website, with two distinct ways of consuming information; what type of holiday you would like and where you want to go. Another of the website’s requirements was to inspire. Vibrant, emotive imagery is used to whet Flitch Travel's clients appetites, create some serious wanderlust and of course, generate sales enquiries.
